We’re working with the City of Greater Geelong and local agencies to help those sleeping rough, through provision of 300 care packs containing essential items including toiletries.
Rough sleepers live on the streets and often sleep in places that are not designed to be slept in, including building doorways, bus-shelters, parks, under-passes, cars and carparks. Rough sleepers often do not have a place to live, or a place to call home.
One of the organisations at the forefront of caring for those doing it tough is The Lazarus Centre, a place where people can take a shower, wash and dry their clothes, have something to eat, and feel supported and welcomed.
Our donations of toiletries is one of the practical ways we can help the Lazarus Centre help those who need it most.
