Why did you become a Pharmacist?
I always wanted to do something that would allow me to help the community, and I had an interest in the health & science side of things as well. Pharmacy seemed a great way to combine the two!
What is the best part of the profession?
I love being a part of the primary health care team and interacting with patients on a daily basis. When people come back and you can see the improvement in health following your advice and recommendations, it's a great feeling.
What brought you to Community Care Chemist?
I started working with Community Care Chemist seven years ago while I was still studying pharmacy. I like the fact that we're a not for profit organisation and our profits go back into our community - it really differentiates us from other pharmacies. And our stores are beautiful places to shop & work.
What are you most passionate about in healthcare?
I have a real interest in eHealth and integrating technology within the health care system. I think there is still lots of potential for us to improve the way we use technology in health.
