As you will be well aware the COVID-19 situation is now impacting all of us in some way, shape or form.
During this time, Community Care Chemist’s priority is to support the health and wellbeing of our community, and our team, so that they may continue to care for you.
We thank you for your patience during a very busy period. Our team is working hard to ensure that we can provide you with the information you require, and meet the pharmacy needs of our customers.
It is important that our team and our community follow the guidelines below, to protect each other, and to ensure that we can continue to provide you with your health care needs.
We apologise for the short supply of some products including hand sanitisers, however this is currently beyond our control. We will continue to source products from alternative suppliers and manage the sales to ensure we can service as many customers as possible. This may mean some temporary limits will be placed on some items.
The high demand for prescriptions is placing extra pressure on our team. During peak periods, increased waiting times may be experienced. We ask for your consideration of our team, and of other customers, as we will not compromise your safety.
The supply of each and every medication is controlled by various regulations. Our pharmacists also have a legal and ethical obligation to supply medication in a safe and accurate manner.
Should our resources become stretched due to staff illness or isolation, we may be forced to modify hours, or change our dispensing or sales processes. This will be communicated both via electronic means, social media, and store signage, should it happen.
Please be assured that we will make every effort to continue to supply health care services to our valued customers.
