How long have you been working in pharmacy?
I have been working in pharmacy for almost 8 years now! I was influenced by my grandfather who used to own a traditional and modern medicines pharmacy, so studying pharmacy just seemed right. When I was a pharmacy student, I started working at my local community pharmacy and from there I knew this was my calling.
What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?
Travel and explore to see what the world has to offer! I think everyone should experience different cultures, traditions, music and food!
What brought you to Community Care Chemist?
I started at Community Care Chemist a couple of months ago when there was an opening at the North Geelong store. What stood out to me was the patient-focussed, whole health and whole heart approach, which is in line with my personal ethos.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
Helping a patient’s health and wellbeing, and making a positive impact on their life. I like getting to know the patients personally, providing them with advice and receiving feedback on how we have made a difference in their therapy.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I live to eat! I usually plan my travel based on which cafés or restaurants I want to go to. Tourist attractions, shopping or other activities come second. I also love watching musicals in my spare time!
